Reporting Copyright Infringement

How to Submit a Takedown Notice

Important: Takedown notices must be submitted via email to copyright@asospy.com. Notices submitted through other channels will not be processed.

Agent Authorization: If you are acting as an agent, you must provide valid written authorization from the copyright holder.

Required Information

Your takedown notice must include all of the following information:

Your Contact Information

• Full legal name (even if representing someone else)
• Company name (if applicable)
• Country of residence
• Email address
• Phone number
• Fax number (if available)
• Address for service in Cyprus (if you are not a Cyprus resident)

Copyright Holder Information

• Full legal name of the copyright holder you represent (if applicable)
• Letter of Authorization if you are an agent (accepted formats: .pdf, .jpg, .png, .jpeg)

Your Copyrighted Work

• Clear identification of the copyrighted work
• Location where we can view an authorized example of the work

Allegedly Infringing Content

• Specific URLs or location of the infringing material on our Platform
• Sufficient detail to help us locate the content

Required Statements

Include these sworn statements in your notice:

• "I have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted materials described above is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
• "I understand that a copy of this notice may be sent to the uploader of the affected content."
• "The information in this takedown notice is accurate."
• "I am the copyright owner, exclusive licensee, or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner."
• "I agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Cyprus courts."

Digital Signature

Type your full legal name at the end of your email as your digital signature. This signature must exactly match the name provided in your contact information.

Our Response Process

Takedown Procedure

Upon receiving a valid takedown notice, we will:

1. Review the notice for completeness and validity
2. Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
3. Notify the content uploader of the removal
4. Document the action taken

Timeline

We aim to process valid takedown notices within 48-72 hours of receipt.

Counter-Notice Process

Filing a Counter-Notice

If your content was removed and you believe it was done in error, you can file a counter-notice to copyright@asospy.com.

Required Information for Counter-Notice

Your counter-notice must include:

Your Contact Information

• Full legal name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Fax number (if available)
• Address for service in Cyprus (if you are not a Cyprus resident)

Content Information

• Identification of the material that was removed
• Location where the material appeared before removal

Required Statements

• "I have a good faith belief that the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification."
• "The material does not infringe any copyright."
• "The information in this counter-notice is accurate."
• "I agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Cyprus courts."

Digital Signature

Type your full legal name as your digital signature.

Restoration Process

After receiving a valid counter-notice, we will:

1. Forward a copy to the original complainant
2. Wait 10-14 business days for the complainant to file a court action
3. Restore the content if no legal action is filed and restoration is technically feasible

Note: Content will not be restored if the copyright owner files a lawsuit and provides proof of legal proceedings.

Repeat Infringer Policy

ASOSpy maintains a policy of terminating user accounts that are subject to repeated copyright infringement claims. Users who receive multiple valid takedown notices may have their accounts suspended or permanently terminated.

False Claims

Warning: Submitting false or bad faith copyright claims may result in legal liability. Under applicable laws, you may be liable for damages if you knowingly misrepresent that content is infringing.
